Mary Kay tinted moisturizer..

Hello once more have a question re M Kay products.I want to get a tinted moisturizer.I have bought the foundation , hand creams so far and they are both great.You were right its the best foundation that I have ever used.Can''t see you have it on and easy to apply also.Thanks
Now do you the tinted moisturizer instead of moisturizer or need to apply both? How do you like yours? Thanks..

Hi scarleta,

My MIL is an MK rep, and she gave me the tinted moisturizer. I am normal-to-oily,so I don''t need to put any moisturizer, and it''s got a very nice dewey finish.

However, I find it to be quite sheer - I used to use Laura Mercier, which had more coverage, which I like to cover any blemishes. With the Mary Kay, I need to use additional concealer on any spots or undereye circles.

That siad, though, if your skin is pretty clear, it gives nice sheer coverage & a pretty glow.

Thanks V-girl yes my skin is clear and its normal to dry.Is the moisturizer waterproof ? Is it sufficient for watersports? THaks

Hi scarleta,

I haven''t actually worn it swimming, but the color is so sheer, it doesn''t run in the rain (like foundation would do - no colored streaks). It really does absorb and become "part" of your skin, instead of just sitting on top. BUt, if you''re planning to have it stay on during water sports, I don''t know that it''s heavy enough to do the trick. It does have a nice creamy texture,a nd isn''t runny, but I don''t think it''s a waterproof formula.

Also, my MIL gave it to me at Valentine''s Day when my skin was very pale, and even though the color looked a little dark in the tube at that time, it blended right in. Now that it''s warm out, I''ve gotten a tan, and the color looks lighter int the tube, but still blends into my skin. So, for color match, it''s one of the best ones I''ve used. I loved the coverage of the Laura Mercier but when I get pale in the winter it always looked orange on me.

Overall, I think it''s worth getting - especially if your skin is normal-to-dry, it should be perfectr for you, especially during the summer.
