What sort of bracelet do a sadist designer and masochist setter create? Why, sphene pave!

Ummmm….I sort of think it’s fascinating as a bangle. If gifted, I’d be delighted to wear it. I think I’d better slink away under the nearest rock.

But that bangle won't last a single day though. I thought they were yellow sapphires at first until I re-read your post.

That''s one of those "sweet mother of God" pieces

Very true, Mr Ma Re. I wonder why go through a lot of trouble setting those lovely sphenes in a way that is guaranteed to destroy them, even if very gently worn to the theater.

very cool, not my taste, but cool nonetheless

That''s one of those pieces you need to put in a display case instead of your wrist. I would love to see that in a museum for jewelry design. I would never wear it out and about! Those poor sphene.

Here's a closeup of the sphene pave.

Well, at least whoever set it is probably a phenomenal setter, even if they're a masochist - LOL!!

Nope, the setter is a sadist.

I think it''s great as a work of art. As a piece of jewelery..maybe not so much on the practical side.

Good point; basic purpose of jewellery is to be worn and enjoyed (without getting destroyed in the process).

It needed lot of skilled works no doubt, but, not of my taste...

Ahhhh I see. I thought you all had something against snakes and it took a while for the penny to drop. I think it''s beautiful even if it is unwearable.

Ditto! The sphene is gorgeous but...ow!

Oh my lord, I absolutely LOVE it. It''s one of those wonderful, absolutely ridiculous things...70K? For a SNAKE BRACELET??!?!?!

Wow!

I''d love to see it IRL - the fire off that thing would be incredible!

That is a phenomenal bracelet! I''d love to own a great statement piece like that. But why would one make an unwearable bracelet? I agree that jewelry is art, but it is art you wear. Too bad this couldn''t be worn and enjoyed.
