Max Marcus (Max & the Goldsmith) of Newton, Ma

Has anyone ever used Max Marcus of Newton Ma for a custom setting? I am a little nervous because the ring is delayed (about a week). He told me that he wasn't happy with the way that the head turned out, and that he was going to fix it. He said that if he wasn't happy, I wouldn't be happy. I appreciate his prefectionism, but I worry about his ability. Are problems like this common with making custom settings?

Yes, sometimes things happen. I know I would love a guy who is as anal as I am. And I wish the dude who did my engagement ring was anal even the least amount.

I agree. Appreciate his concern for detail in the final product. Be thankful he won''t accept "ok" and wants to make it great. I bet it''ll be worth the wait.
