He said it all on his own, i hadn't mentioned a ring i liked or anyone getting engaged or even what grandma said when she heard a friends granddaughter eloped in months!

He had a really promising job interview a month ago and it has really gotten him thinking. I got my first real "after college" job 2 weeks ago and thats the kind of job he was interviewing for. Like i have mentioned before, he's old-fashioned and wants to 'take care' of me before asking for my hand. OMG i hope he gets the job. lol.

Oh pout. He didn't get the job, in fact he doesn't even "know" that yet. They are stringing everyone (the standard 4 interviewees, of whom we know 2) along but we know someone close to the recruiter who called us letting us know that the recruiter wanted us to know that they have decided they aren't sure they have the funding to hire anyone. Basically, they aren't hiring anyone, aren't reimbursing interview costs, and may or may not re-open the applications in 6 months.

Still happy that the BF is thinking about this as much as I am, but pouting that it will not be as soon as previously hoped.
