Me in MY dress!

Last weekend, I was at my grandmother''s with my mother and my BFF to pick up my wedding gown and the BM dresses that got in two weeks ago. My mom and grandma needed dresses as well so we did some shopping for them too. They both found gorgeous dresses off the rack at 30% off at the store where we''d ordered the other dresses, my mom''s doesn''t even need alterations. Unfortunately for some reason we don''t have pics of grandma in her dress, and of course, no pics of my sister''s because she couldn''t be there. Please excuse the flat-ish hair and lack of make-up, I''m also not wearing my shoes. I''m really happy that with my shoes on I won''t have much left to hem! I''m pretty short (5''1") and I was worried about that.

It was the first time I saw the dress in the right size and color. It''s sooo beautiful! Here I apparently was listening to the seamstress explaining something to me.

I think I was looking for my shoes there (which I''d left in the car...

), but it''s a pretty neat picture. And yes, it needs to be taken in at the bust area.

With my gorgeous BFF and BM, who''d never seen her dress in the right size and colour either. We were having a bit of an "OMG" moment, it''s really nice how my mom captured it.

All happy now! I can''t believe how young I look in this picture.

With the pearl earrings and necklace my grandmother is lending me (my something borrowed) and a veil. The seamstress is making me a custom veil, fingertip length with no trim for 50$, and since they told me they would give me a free veil when they sold me my dress, I''m actually getting a custom veil for free!

The embroidery and lace-up back. I'm getting a longer veil because I don't really like how this one ends right at the bow.

Finally, my mom in her stunning, perfectly fitting dress. She looks sort of short in the picture, but I think it's just because it was taken from a strange angle. She was super excited and making a funny face.
