I had mentioned a few months ago I was anxious about an interview for medical school. Well after waiting what has seemed like forever, just this Thursday I found out whether the school likes me or not. And....

I'm in!!! I have been accepted to Tufts Medical School to earn my MD. I am so excited. Just wanted to let everyone know what is going on in that department, totally unrelated to relationships. Though it will be interesting to see if my relationship lasts through medical school.

Any other doctors or future doctors out there with relationship advice?
:appl:

I am studying at a medical school right now. Well actually, I am on my internship, receiving my masters degree in forensic medicine! I take all classes with the future doctors, and I can tell you that you will have your hands full! That is so exciting that you have been accepted! I am sure it is a wonderful feeling! I plan on attending medical school to become a forensic pathologist next year to give myself some time free from college. I have been going 7 years straight! It can be tough at first in a relationship, but just remember to focus on your school work, and do your best! Your SO will love you just the same :)

I edited this because I did not want to confuse you about going to medical school. PCOM the college I attend has a Masters degree program that I am completing now. I then plan on taking almost a year off and starting in my college to continue my career I truly wish to have. I have not been accepted into the program yet, however, my grades are excellent, I have been studying for the GRE's as much as I can!!

congratulations RB!!! that is awesome news! I remember doing med school interviews and it was a stressful time. (I was accepted but decided it was not the best career path for me...)

anyway huge congratulations to you!!!!! :appl: :appl:

Wow, good on you!

Congrats!

My SO is in Medical School (just started his third year). (For myself, I think you med school kids are a little nuts)

As long as both people in the relationship realize how much work it's going to be sometimes (and the fact that its not just 4 years, but at least 7 of crazy schedules), and that you won't get to see each other all the time it'll be ok. For example, my boyfriend just spent a MONTH locked in his room studying for the board exams. It was tough, but I just hung out with long suffering friends who I don't see very often. :)

Congrats again!

Congratulations! I know you are thrilled and I'm very happy for you!
