Does anyone know of any dresses that are similar in style to the Dora that might be a bit more budget friendly? The things that I like the most about the Dora are the sweetheart neckline and the line of the dress/ skirt ( I like how it is somewhat mermaid-y but not too drastic) I''ve fallen in love w/ the Dora but just can''t spend that money on a dress.

Thanks!

when I was looking for similar shapes, I saw this one by Watters. But I didn''t get to actually try it on and I don''t know what the price is.

hello from one dora lover to another!!! i was fortunate enough to find a sample Dora (thanks to fellow PSer CrownJewel!!!), but i know how you feel, it is a lot of money to spend.

I know Marisa makes some Melissa Sweet copies, maybe one of their styles would have a similar skirt and a sweetheart neck? I also tried on one by Watters that had a bit more fitting through the hips and then flared out. not mermaid but not a-line either. I would take a look at those designers!

good luck and take pics when you try on so we can see

ETA: omg Crown that is exactly the dress i was talking about!!! hahaha i tried it on at RK bridal. i wonder if we were just following each other around NYC trying on the same dresses....? so funny.

Haha...Kara we posted at the same time. I am not surprised! I see or hear "Dora" or "swiss dot" and my brain is like "beep beep beep."

Thanks! That dress looks promising. I will add it to my list of dresses I''d like to try.

HA! Cj and Kara...I am CRACKING up right now! I also tried on that Watters dress...at RK bridal! I didn''t like it as much in person (I think because their sample was white?), but I think it could be lovely in ivory. It is such a pretty, flowy fabric!
