Guh  .... Amazing!!

Wow. . . what stone is that?

ETA: I see, an orange sapphire. Gorgeous!

I think you're commenting about the wedding bands I posted, so I'm going to say thank you! The jeweler sent me photos of the rings in the rough, without stones or polishing, but they are going to look exactly like the renders!

Mine aren't your "average" men's rings, but I still love em!

We picked up our wedding rings today. They turned our really well. We don't get to wear them until April 17th, but I'm very pleased. Both are custom made/designed in Platinum. The natural yellow diamond in my partners ring isn't quite as deep yellow as I remembered, but it's very distinctive. Here are some pictures. The first two are my ring, containing diamonds from my father's ring. The second two are my partners ring:

Beautiful rings guys! It's always nice to find other LGBT diamond lovers. Love those big clean diamonds on your band! :wavey:

Thank you DiamondBoy! I so want to wear my ring, but I can't until April 17th. Patience is not one of my better virtues! LOL ;))

You could always start wearing them as engagement/wedding rings :appl: . I have a few that I switch out depending on the day. My partner doesn't wear any yet, but will get a band like yours once we tie the knot. I'll get some bands to stack with mine too lol.

Yes, we could, but we'll wait until the 17th. I have my other diamond ring I can wear until then, but I usually only wear it for special occasions. Thanks!

Rod congrats and those rings are beautiful

Diamond boy,
What is that light brown stone? I think I like that one the best!

Hello all,
It occurred to me that I didn't update this thread on the restoration of the diamond ring I purchased at the end of last summer. The caibre cut side stones (synthetic sapphire) were restored by Singlestone in the fall. Milgrain edges were also refreshed.

Diamondboy has inspired me to look for some others!

Still in the market for a compatible man!

What a great thread. Now I really don't feel alone :) Tons of jewelry some I've not thought about in ages but this thread inspired this newbie to dig through the safes.

Custom made 28 ct Em-Cut Amethyst (Brushed sterling silver) and Vintage Oval Cat's Eye Green Tourmaline (18kt YG). Princess Cut Blue Sapphire (Platinum), Diamond Brushed Band (14k WG, Hubbs gave me)

Terrific Rings BlackPearl!

I'm now finally wearing my wedding ring as I now have a husband, but we had a loooooooong engagement of 35 years! Our wedding was simply incredible and people have asked if we feel differently and the answer is we do. We feel more connected, not just with each other, but in the eyes of the government and God!

I got a couple nice shots of my ring this afternoon:

I love your rings as well :)) I don't seem to see that many nice multi-stone rings for men, especially not with decent sized diamonds like those :sun: and they are understated yet suitably bling!

You have given me good inspiration for when I actually have some budget available, although I'm not sure if my lady would be very happy with me having more and bigger bling than her...

Thank you very much. The stones in this ring were my fathers stones in an awful gold setting. He'd never cleaned the stones, so I always thought they weren't very pretty, but it turned out they were better cut and quality than I ever thought. His diamonds were nicer than my mothers. It makes me happy to wear this ring because is symbolizes the amazing love I have with my now husband of 35 years, but also because the stones were my father's who loves us both.

Here is the only other ring I own. I had this ring made when I hit my 50th birthday and we had been together 25 years. My center stone is an excellent cut GIA 1.12 carat G in color stone. My husbands is the same design, but he wanted a blue diamond center (not natural - we couldn't afford a 1 carat natural blue). Both rings are also in Platinum. We really on wear them for special occasion.
