Fabulous! Congratulations to you both!!

Thank you missy and gregchang35 - very much appreciate it! Neither of us are used to wearing diamonds on our hands and the flashes of light are so distracting (in a good way). Hopefully we can help normalize diamonds on mens hands :)

Thanks rod ! Also - husbands ring turned out to be 3.2 carats - good thing our fingers are the same size! Here is another shot of mine...

Looks great on your hand!

Hard to believe our first year wedding anniversary is rapidly approaching and this summer will be our actual 36th anniversary together!

Wishing you and your husband many many years of happiness!

Thanks Rod - and congrats to you as well! So happy for you and your husband! Does he wear a diamond ring as well?

Yes he does. He wanted a yellow diamond as his center stone, so we had both rings custom made in Platinum. Here are both rings:

Hello!

I was looking for a great setting for a asscher cut diamond (to be determined, but will be about .90 to 1.20 carats) and fell in love with Boone rings. However, does anyone recommend another company for precious metal work?

We have asschers set in Boonerings but if you want a tension setting in gold or platinum I recommend:

I'm very happy with my platinum Gelin Abaci tension setting.

Though more expensive I'd also consider these two:

Good luck.

Beautiful rings!

So during conservative business meetings you rotate your half-eternity around to show your diamonds and bling-blind your colleagues?

Hubby's 6mm yellow gold milgrain and patterned (center section) comfort fit band. Yellow gold suits his skin tone much more than white metals.

Im new to posting but wanted to try,

This is my ring- 2.02ct-Australian sapphire-14k Yellow gold-Half Bezel- No known treatments.
This ring I had custom made for me because its a memory of great things, times, and to keep going as nothing is impossible. The sapphire was a gift from some amazing friends well there more like family. Being a guy its not a typical to want a ring but it turned out perfect and is just stunning! What do you all think?

Bunk that being a guy you should not want a ring. And yes, your ring turned out beautifully and I hope you wear it in great health and happiness!!!

Zachschneider- the ring looks great.

As for guys/ you wanting a ring- so be it. If u like it, wear it. As you say - it's perfect. And that is the most important feedback out need. We can break 'stereotypes'... Men with long hair, ear piercings, wearing diamonds and so on... :-)

Welcome to PS!!!

Kenny - haha yes depending on the meeting :shifty:

The diamond half isn't so noticeable unless the lighting is just right - think maybe because they are baguettes. That said there is a lot of flashing in the right light.

Zachschnider love your sapphire what great color. Can't wait till men wearing beautiful stones is the norm!

Kenny - I have to admit I saw your postings about FCD's and have begun to become mildly obsessed researching them. Your collection is incredible and I'm starting to think of exchanging my white oval (only .91 cts h/vs2) that hangs on my yurman silver link chain for a FCD. My jewlers has an upgrade policy and while I was thinking a larger white asscher would be the next one, I've been thinking of maybe a yellow instead? The research has been ongoing on my part but it is quite confusing with all of the color variation that exist. What was your first colored stone and what do you recommend as an entry point into the FCD world for a guy?

Thanks gregchang! Your DH is an incredibly lucky guy to own that beautiful blue fcd!  :naughty:

Thanx. He may be lucky to own the blue FCD, but I am truly the lucky one to have him in my life... His strength and guidance is worth more than that blue. Yes, soppy I know... :-)
