cbs- Thank you so much! I know we don't "really" know eachother, but it means a great deal to know that I was on your mind!!
All you other fabulous ladies, thank you for your wishes!! I was only nervous for about 10 minutes 20 minutes before the wedding. The rest of the time was pure excitement. You all are wonderful and thank you so much for everything each of you has helped me with over the last year!!
I am now recovering from the most amazing weekend of my life. C looked like a true prince and my sister started balling when I came around the corner and she saw C mouth "Wow" to himself.
Yup... that's my husband.
Just for those of you that have been following my lovely Future In-Law issues, you will be glad to know a few things: (I'm laughing to myself as I type this)
- They showed up to the Bridesmaid Luncheon 40 minutes late. The hotel was 5 miles away, in the middle of downtown, and they had to wait on their limo driver to bring them. I guess one of the 4 taxis lined up along the side of the hotel just wasn't acceptable.
- After asking if the really needed to be at the rehearsal, they showed up 20 minutes late and then snuck out early so that they could get to the restaurant before all their guests.
- She made a comment to my dad that said... "We'll were pretty much both having receptions, you all are just serving cake."
- The last song of the night, at the reception, was "We had the time of our Lives" from Dirty Dancing, and FMIL proceeded to GET ON TOP of one of the dinner tables and jump into FFIL arms. (a la Dirty Dancing from the stage and running down the aisle)
- Then when C and I were late to the bar afterwards she sent me a text that said... "FFIL had the bar set up Vegas Style, you need to show up."
LOL
Chris and I are on cloud nine and still can't stop smiling. I'll post some non pro pics as I get them and a much more detailed line of the events later this evening!! Thank again everyone!!
Ohh and highlight of the night... Chris and I doing Soulja Boy in the middle of the dance floor, surrounded by ALL the guests!!!!! And yes we DO have video!!!!

Just as an update... she apologized for this yesterday. She said she just knew how much everyone wanted us to be there, and she was worried that we would/did just lay down and decide/d not get back up.- Then when C and I were late to the bar afterwards she sent me a text that said... I totally understand why she would have thought that - we were SO exhausted after the reception. Our only regret was putting WAY too much time in between the reception and after party. Ours ended about 4:00, then we had people meet at the bar at 8 - biggest mistake ever - but we learned from it. We barely could stand up at our afterparty! We had good intentions, though - we thought the hotel people would drink on the sundeck in between and watch the sunset together. Still had an amazing time, though!!
