the seller didn''t include the veils.. oh well what can i expect when the dress cost $6800 and i only got it for 1,035 right? anywho... the dress is super heavy with lots of beading and i don''t think i can walk in it at all... Anyone use a petticoat for their mermaid style dress? I was thinking hoops.. so none of the fabric would roll up when i walk... what is the best petticoat for a mermaid style dress? also... my dress is ivory..which is nice but i kinda wish it would be a lil whiter...kinda dark on me though....

have anyone ever try to dye their wedding dress from ivory to white with ivory beading before??? i don''t know if i should take that risk because the beading is ivory... im not sure it will work... just a thought....

Do NOT try to dye or bleach the dress. Please.

They had a mermaid peticoat at one of the bridal stores where I tried on dresses. You should just start asking your local bridal stores. I love the dress, it does look heavy but so beautiful.

Don''t dye or bleach it. Some fabrics turn weird colors (like yellow when you bleach them. Some fabrics don''t dye evenly.

Is the dress too long for you? Maybe you won''t need a petticoat if the dress is the proper length.

the dress is a bit too heavy.. i just wanna walk in it and i hate it when it roll up... its not too long for me .. it just heavy..

I''ve never heard of these before. I was wondering if my dress was a little too ''drapey'' near the bottom. This is an interesting idea for sure. What dress are you wearng again Karasue?

my dress is alott of drappin'' at the bottom ... I was lookin'' at what makes it value at almosk 7k beside the designer Manuel Mota.... "Detail" lots of it.. They sew the tiny beads one by bone to creat each flowers.. by glancin'' at it .. it look like a sparklin'' lace flowers dress but when u get so close to it.. you have to appreciates the hard workin'' being put in... in the picture the tail doesn''t look like that long but in real life OMG its double that size... that''s why its just too heavy for me to walk in... but thanks everyone for the input...

karasue.. thank you.. i saw the val collection one yesterday.. thought its a lil pricey... but the other two website one i am thinkin'' about buying it... i wonder if having those in would be any help?
