Thank you for posting that strmdr! It is SOOOOO true - every little thing that you do to support the troops really DOES make a difference to us (them). I spent christmas of 2004 over in Iraq and it was pretty depressing. Being thousands of miles away from your friends and family and home-cooked meals really sucks! But all the little gifts and cards and little extras we recieved from back on the homefront really helped boost morale and got us through the tough season. I remember the donations, and I know the troops currently stationed overseas are appreciating them! It''s amazing how a simple box of cookies and a card that says "thank you" can make your day!

Don''t forget our troops this holiday season! Remember - you enjoy the traditions that you do because of their efforts and sacrifices!!!!
