Micropave with square cuts and invisible setting, possible?

Does anyone know if they make a micropave setting with square cut diamonds instead?? Can they also make a micropave setting without the prongs like an invisible setting??

Hm... why would that be different from the "normal" invisible setting ?

GNN Diamonds makes some crazy 3D shapes made of invisibly set diamonds (think... tiny disco ball!

I''ve seen non-rounds set pave in older piece of jewelry - but the stones used are way larger than those used in modern pave and the look totally different. I am not sure - in fact - that you would call that "pave".

New ones ? No... not really. You would need some cut corner shapes for the purpose - I don''t even think there are enough fancy shaped pointers made. Completely hypothetically speaking

I could think of some larger fancy shape diamonds bead set one by one - but not making a continuous surface.

Fancy shaped colored stones would be more likely to find in some sort of "pave" (or at least surface-covering setup). The weirdest I can remeber was a pendant covered with invisibly-set green marquis cut stones (tourmaline & green garnet, I think). With no two stones of exactly the same shape or size and all fit together to a tenth of a milimeter - that should have been quite a task to put together.
