Not at all! In fact, I like this dress on you more than any of the others you''ve posted. Is it your size? It looks a little big (and if so, I bet it''d look stunning fitted to you).

i agree. this last one is really really flattering on you.

I love both of these, especially #2. I don''t think the sash is too wide on the first dress but the bow looks too big or long or something. I don''t know...

I really love the second one. Great find!!

#2 is the best so far but yeah, I can see why you''re questioning the neckline...I think a straight line looks most flattering on a strapless dress. Can you find one like #2 with a straight line across the top? Maybe you''d like that better? I do love how the asymetrical waistline looks on you, though, very flattering!

Yes, both #1 and #2 were about 3 sizes too big, and the shop I was at had plastic clips that didn''t really keep the extra fabric taut.

Here''s a similar Mikaella with a straight neckline. I do like the straight or slightly dipped necklines better. However, I really disliked the taffeta this was made out of. It looked like it was made out of cellophane. Anyone see any other similar styles with a straight neck? I do see similar, but the ruching always seems to go horizontally, instead of diagonally like #2, which is important! :)

I actually prefer the sweetheart neckline to the straight on you, but if you like the straight more, that''s what matters most! Just thought I''d throw that out there.

Here''s something with a less exaggerated sweetheart neckline that''s very similar to the 2nd Mikaella:

Sottero Midgley SSM5049

A similar style, but without a lot of ruching:

Maggie Sottero Zoe

Oooh, I think either of those Maggies would look amazing on you!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sottero Midgley! Okay, I''m switching my vote to that one.

I don''t think the sash on #1 is too big for the dress, but because you are more petite, I think it makes you look shorter. I think the neckline on #2 is a bit too sweetheart for your frame. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you in either of the 2 maggies that EBree posted!

WOW I love and adore number two on you... not jessica rabbit at all. It''s the nicest one I''ve seen on you honestly. It''s got my vote.

Great suggestion! That first Maggie is beautiful- I''ll try to hunt it down here in Houston. I''m not sure my chest is big enough for the deep "v" of the Mikaella, but this sweetheart neckline would be more comfortable for me. :)

misysu2,

I tried that first Maggie on very recently, and it''s quite lovely in person and should suit you really well! That said, it''s actually a Sottero & Midgely dress, a line of Maggie Sottero, so be sure to check which shops carry the SM line in your area.
