um, not really any updates to speak of i guess. he did talk to both sets of my parents, who now ask me if i''m engaged every time i talk to them (as if i wouldn''t call them??!). he said by the end of the year, so it could be up to another month BUT i did tell him how important it would be for me to celebrate with my family at christmas, so that would be no later than the 22nd.
this past weekend he said that i''d be engaged within two weeks....but i''m 99% sure that he is full of crap, as he has been known to say stuff like that to throw me off (and again, he always does it in the opposite direction
). but i''m really not expecting it until super close to christmas. he''s not really a planner so i can''t see him orchestrating anything too involved - i''d actually put money on that he still has no idea how he is going to!
it''s funny that you mention a mani - my nails are horrible! my nails are usually the only part of my body that i take any pride in. anyone ever see that episode of family guy when meg has the superpower to grow her nails? that''s me! my nails are always really super long and healthy....until right now! i''ve been on an orange kick and i think the acid from peeling three of the things a day has made them super brittle and they have ALL broken down to the nub. ironic, isn''t it? my FF even yelled at me and threaten to put off the proposal until they grow back! i probably won''t get them done anytime soon, but i do plan on laying off citrus until after the new year.
and don''t worry, even after the ring i''m not going anywhere! you couldn''t get rid of me if you tried
