Hi grrls,

I have 4 bridesmaids and have asked them to each look out for a black just-under-knee-length dress in a style which flatters them, to wear for their bridesmaid dress on the day. I have some coral coloured material to make into sashes to tie the look together.

I was expecting them to be stoked they won''t look like meringues, but instead they seem a bit hesitant about whether the wedding party will look cohesive or messy.

I want to collect some pics of wedding parties which used mismatched dresses and looked good.... can anyone find me some pics and post them in here?

Thanks heaps!

I think this is a personal thing however, I can''t stand sashes. I''d say go with the black and accessorize them with other things. Black is classy and I think different dresses are great!

My BMs are wearing the different dresses but the same color. Here''s them in the mismatched colors... It might help to guide them to a designer and fabric and let them pick the style. Maybe they''re overwhelmed? There are tons of black dresses out there. HTH!

Maybe it would be better to have matching dresses after all :)

I kinda like this style - what do you guys think? It''s satin and chiffon and made to measure and very affordable.
