There were some questions about my wedding, and I realized I hadn''t posted a wedding thread yet! Here are some of my ideas, etc.

First, the ceremony area. The botanical garden in Springfield, IL. Here are some shots.

Here it is

Then, here''s the Roman Cultural Garden, the specific area where the ceremony will be held.

First of all, that dress is beautiful and I love your selections. I love the location as well!!! I just had one question. I''m assuming those flowers will remain in place, so where is everyone sitting exactly? Just out of curiosity? It''s going to be beautiful I just know it!!

Misysu! I was married in Washington Park, too!!! We had the ceremony at the gazebo, but did some photos by the rose garden. It's beautiful there.

Please let me know if you need any Springfield info/tips!

dragonfly- Those flowers will remain in place, and if you look carefully, there are actually 3 aisles, one in the center, and one on each side. There''s also a bench at the front of each of those big flower rows. Perfect place for parents to sit!

Elmorton- I''m actually FROM Spfld, are you!? Small world!! :)

WOW!

I love every last bit of it!!! Especially the dresses and the jewelry and the setting is absolutely lovely!!

everything looks so good! I especially love your dress!

Nope! DH is. I grew up near Champaign...but oh do I feel like I grew up in Springfield now! Spent a lot of time there while planning. :)

Wow crazy! I''m trying to plan my Spfld wedding long-distance from Houston, with my parents in town helping out when they can.

I know my way around town, but any tips on how to get your guests to the right location within Washington Park? The roads were pretty windy and the signs bad, if I remember correctly.

WOW eveything looks so lovely. I love the coro combinations!! Great job Misy!!

Thanks Gypsy! I only hope that the colors work in their actual execution.

I''m nervous that they look nice on the computer, but will not work the day of the wedding. Or the florist will get the colors wrong. Oh something. I''m just biting my fingernails about it.

If you are really that worried. I''d ask for a mock up. Even if you have to pay a litle for it.

I''m not sure if we can do that-- the BMs don''t have their dress yet, and all live out of town, and I''m planning Illinois flowers from here in Houston. We won''t get a chance to put them all together until I get there 3 days before the wedding. (this is me, stressed, not just with flowers, but with a little of everything!)

It all looks beautiful! I especially love your venue!

Wow! The venue is gorgeous and the reception place looks nice too! I love the cameo that you are wearing...it will look very lovely with your dress.

Oh, I love everything - that venue is TDF and I really love the bridesmaid dresses and the flowers - and your dress!

Thanks so much for the kind words, everyone! I''m glad to hear that others like what they see! It''s so hard planning from 2000 miles away!
