Love how you had your hair up with the flower.

MMM, your wedding was GORGEOUS! you and your DH are so adorable! I love the venue and the colors! And the BMD''s looked awesome! I wore a Jcrew dress for a friends wedding, they''re awesome. Were the dresses taffeta? I love the sheen.

I am literally speechless...everything was so....perfect. You are so beautiful, for one. I adore the yellow, the personal touches, the candy apples...my gosh, its unreal! Wow, just, wow.

Your wedding turned out lovely and I really liked your dress + shoes...so cute. BTW, your cake looked wonderful. Sometimes simple is the best way to go, but I think Publix did a great job for you.

How did I miss this!? I love it! It''s the perfect combination of elegance and homey feeling. I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT! And to repeat others, you''re one of the most beautiful brides I''ve seen.

Thanks for the review of solemates. I''m going to have to get one for myself.

I LOVE your tent frame with lights.
And I adore your idea of chair ribbons for table runners. Can you tell me where you got them? Can do the same for my wedding?

More pictures please!

Sorry, but I had to bump this back up. I cannot stop looking at your pics!

MMM - You should add this to the PS Wedding thread

MMM - I had a curious question - there are some pics in the beginning of you with your hair up, then some with it down - I think I realized after going through them all that it seems you put your hair up for the reception - is that how you did it?

MMT - question for you - your wedding is gorgeous!!! I am wondering what makeup line/foundation you used...your skin looks so naturally gorgeous!

Hi! Back to answer some questions :)

Morgie – I had my wedding band made by a local jeweler here in los angeles. (Universal Jewelers) While we were purchasing michael’s wedding band I described the ring I wanted and asked if they had one like my description. They didn’t, but said they could just make it for me. It was all very easy and painless. My engagement ring was such a long, detailed process (although I loved the whole thing), but my wedding band was very much the opposite. I said I wanted a fishtail pave, eternity band, 2mm wide, in platinum. It was ready in about a week or so. And they guarantee against stones falling out (they’ll fix it for free) – which can be a common problem with very thin eternity bands, so it’s nice to have that piece of mind. : )

Choro – I believe you can get chair ties through any linen rental company. Ours were rented with our linens, although the caterer placed the order so I don’t know the company. I requested samples from first of the yellows and grays they carried so I could make sure the colors would be right. I think it is such a great tip if you are trying to save some money! Actually, even if you’re not on a tight budget (but isn’t everyone?), I still think it’s a great idea.

iloveprincesscuts – the grooms cake wasn’t a surprise; although that does sound like a fun idea! but that cake was completely michael’s vision. He was going back and forth between wanting a meeka (our beagle) cake or a gator (university of florida) cake, so we smashed them together and put meeka in a gator jersey. The cake was in a side room which also had the second bar. So it wasn’t right next to the wedding cake, but was still seen by everyone. We cut the wedding cake first, and then right after, they took they wedding cake to the kitchen to be sliced for serving, and carried the grooms cake over for its own first cutting.

luvthemstrawberries – you are correct, I had my hair down for the ceremony and formal pictures, but then put it up for the rest of the night. Reason being, florida is super humid and my hair loooves to get frizzy. So I figured it could manage being down for a while, but not for 6+ hours. So, after the formal pictures (taken after the ceremony) my maid of honor pinned it up for me. She’s in no way a hairdresser, she just strangely has the hidden talent of sticking in bobby pins till it looks good.

brightstone – thank you so much! I do not have perfect skin but honestly after having really bad skin from ages 9-20 I appreciate my complexion so, so, so much! (I think that might be weird to say…?) Anyways, it may not always be perfect, but I am just so happy to have emerged from the bad-skin years (over a decade!) without scars and into the world of not thinking about my face all day, everyday . Anyways, that was beside the point. I saved money by having my friend do my makeup, so I felt like I could allow myself to purchase nice, quality make up for her to work with. I’d never really spent much money on make up before so I did some research beforehand and I decided on smashbox. Since their products are specifically made for photographers it really photographs very nicely. The first time I saw a picture of myself in it I couldn’t get over how much more tan I looked! But really, I just was used to seeing my face 2 shades lighter in photos b/c of the light reflecting off my old, maybelline powder. Now, I’ve moved onto bare minerals (which some people hate, but I am LOVING). But I’d still recommend smashbox too. Especially for a highly photographed day (actually, your most photographed day EVER!).

sorry these replies are so wordy! oops!
and I swear ill be back with more pictures soon :)

From start to finish it was absolutely glorious! The two of you make such a perfect couple and the pictures are absolutely wonderul!

Thanks for sharing and best wishes for many happy years ahead!

M....I''m sorry its taken a few days for me to respond. I don''t think I can mention the blog on here and I don''t want to risk it. Check with Agnes since I just contacted her in the past few weeks. I was so happy for you when I heard it was published. I mean, obviously you have amazing taste but I was happy to know that the wedding I wanted to post is actually being featured in the Knot Mag...how cool! I even posted about it on my blog''s facebook page. If you find my blog you''ll find my blog''s facebook page too.

BTW... Agnes is freaking amazing! Choosing her had to be one of the easiest yet best decisions. Had I not already booked an amazing photog I probably would have considered flying her up to shoot mine this fall.

One of the hardest parts about finding real weddings to post on the blog is finding a wedding photographer that takes pics I believe represent what I want to post. Its actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.

I still think that the tent scaffold without the walls is the best idea ever! Oh, and I loved the yellow, your dress, everything! Great job.

my parents.

you can see we did little bouquets for our moms rather than corsages.

Aawww! This makes me tear up. That is a great idea to be escorted by both your parents. I think I might do the same because I am really close with my mom. *sniffle*

close up of the guy''s ties. also, a add for brooks brothers?
the groomsmen and michael all wore these - since michael''s suit was a differnt color (gray) we decided to have him wear the same tie to pull him together with the groomsmen in their navy. we found these after looking forever and ever and new immediately we''d found the ties! we were at brooks brothers (on rodeo drive, no less) so we knew they were going to be a bit of a splurge. originally we were going to buy them and then have the groomsmen purchase them from us, but when we chose such an expensive one (around $75), we thought we should split the cost with them. but then, when we went to pay, it turned out they were secretly on sale! $9 each!! woohoo!! at that price we just paid for them outright and gave them to the groomsmen as part of their attendant gift.

one the little flower bunches that was ties to the reserved front rows for the VIPs (family). you can also see the super VIP''s (parents, readers) individual tags hanging on the chairs in the background. i posted a closer view of one of these tags earlier.
