Mom2boys and Diamondseeker's GTG 2014!

Mom2boys (M2B) and I met up again at the same mountain resort we visited last year to do a little jewelry shopping! When we first got there, I had to see all the treasures she had gotten since last year (I asked her to please bring them all)! I will have to say, nothing I saw in those stores could beat her own collection!

I have several posts to make of the jewelry we saw, but first, here's a shot of me trying on all her diamonds: the 3.6 BG Signature diamond in Victor Canera solitaire, the 5 ct GOG AVC set in a Steven Kirsch halo, and her 2.2 ct each WF ACA diamond studs!!! My 2.3 ct AVR in Vatche solitaire is the little one on my middle finger! That's about 16 cts of diamonds on that hand!
(I'm wearing my Cartier Tank Francaise watch.)

Next picture is a little clearer shot of her AVC ring.

Third picture is of her 34" platinum WF DBTY (15 point stones) and my Beaudry platinum cross on a Victor Canera platinum and diamond chain. I really want a long DBTY and seeing hers helped me figure out specs!

Last pic is her beautiful french cut diamond band also by Victor.

Just a few more of our things and then to the jewelry store finds!

First is M2B's WF 1.5 ct diamond bangle, which I think is a perfect size!

Next is my Beaudry aquamarine ring.

Last is a shot she made of the profiles of our round diamonds showing the difference in a H&A mrb and an AVR.

Now on to the jewels at our favorite jewelry store!

How about a little EC beauty to start? This stone has such a perfect setting. The sidestones were small and were the perfect compliment to the center stone!

This is probably our favorite of the day...8.36 cts, K VVS (price tag @ $200k)

The last pic is 2.3 cts, 3.6 cts, 5 cts, and 8 cts!!!!!!!!

The largest diamond we tried on was another gorgeous EC, but this one was simply too big for me, so I had to pass it up.

11.33 ct. L SI (around $180k)

Next up is a 5 ct marquise, J-K color, (@ $50k)

Here's a view into the case with some diamonds. Then a couple of other diamond rings. Last, cushion diamond halo studs (these had about .60 ct stones in the center, but they looked a lot bigger with the halos).
