the last one...i''m really sorry for this. i just had to share! i have had so much more fun (and an immensely harder time) finding invitations than the dress or anything!! i just love these. what do you think?

Personally, I''d want a a design that give the text a larger proportion of the overall space. But the design, colors, and font style are all very elegant. If I got an invitation like that -- especially in letterpress -- I''d assume I was in for a very special time!

thats actually a really good point! this is a very small company-i wonder if they could expand the text space and minimize the design just a little bit.

how disappointing...i just got an email from my contact at the letterpress company, requesting information about the price of these invitations.

this is what i got: "I should hasten to say that we did not design that particular invitation. The bride, who is a graphic designer, designed it herself. Most of the work that we print is designed outside the shop. I can estimate an invitation similar to this for you, if you''d like, but we''ll need you to provide us with the artwork. Illustrator files are preferred."

!!! i am no graphic designer...but i love these invitations. if i want something similar, how do i go about tweaking this invitation so that she will make it for me? what are "illustrator files?"

excuse me: i got an email from her(in response to my email requesting price information)!

If you are able to design it yourself (or get a friend to design it for you), I would highly recommend Mercurio Brothers! They did a fantastic job on my letterpress invites and the prices were extremely reasonable. I don''t have any pics but we just went with 1 color ink and script only.

Do you know what photoshop is? It''s software to edit photos. Illustrator is kind of similar. It''s computer software for drawing/editing graphics and text. If you''ve never used the software, you''re not going to pick it up and be able to design your invitations!

The press you contacted doesn''t design anything, it seems they just print. I''m afraid you''re going to have to find a different press. There''s a lot of small presses that graphic designers own--if you really like that invite, I''m sure a graphic designer can create something very similar for you.

good news! i spoke with my mom and she has some friends who are graphic designers who would do the work for free, if i decide to go with this design! thanks thing! ill def. check out MB.
