Morganite ring: Etsy sellers SamnSue or JuliaB?

Hi all, I hope everyone is well!

I'm looking to purchase a morganite ring over the next few months, and I love some of the designs on Etsy. I'm after something reasonably large, 11x9mm or so, in a diamond halo with perhaps a split shank. Has anyone purchased largish morganites from Etsy sellers SamnSue, or JuliaB? What are your thoughts on the cut of the stones? This is just a fun ring and a sometimes e-ring when the mood strikes, so I'm not planning to go nuts on a custom cut stone, something ready made would be ideal.

I worked with Julia B on a couple of projects. I was really pleased with the workmanship and quality. I don’t know about the morganites specifically but I would recommend her shop highly.

Please excuse my ugly power lifter hands. this is a purple sapphire band Julia made for me a while back. Currently, we’re working on blue zircon earrings. I don’t like SamNSue’s cuts, which is why I passed on them. Julia has a much better selection with precision gemstones.

@MissyBeaucoup and @strawrose (your hands are NOT in the least bit ugly! Your nails are divine!) your rings are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your experiences with Julia. I messaged a few vendors on Etsy regarding their morg rings and Julia responded straight away and was super helpful, I`m really impressed. I`m tempted to go with her purely based on her customer service. I was going to go custom as I initially wanted a split shank, but am tempted to just go ahead and order this beauty on her page, but in rose gold. I guess I'll see what the other sellers come back with!

I would go w Julia. She's great, and I think samnsue doesn't have well cut stones, and are often overpriced.
