I saw justageek's thread, and thought I'd make it into a poll, since some folks might like to weigh in anonymously. Hard to cover everything (all the issues) so I will sort of stick to justageek's topics (and some of the responses), with minor modifications. Also hard to make a poll without inserting one's own bias! (Hard to make a good poll about this type of stuff in general. There are so many ways one could do it. I could have put the option, "all of the above" except that the 2 foreign policy answers are opposite. Plus I wish one could select more than one option. And I could have added so many options, but then that dilutes it too much. Oh well....

I think that the Iraq war, immigration policy, and gay marriage will be make-or-break issues for many voters.

Yes, I made it too quickly based in part on the other thread, without putting enough thought into it; so even I have a hard time voting on it!

But I like the list you wrote on the other thread, about 90% or so!! Ron Paul definitely comes closest, PLUS I really believe he is the only one who really is honest and will do what he says. He is not bought off by the lobbyists...

pardon me for seeming to be inconsiderate, but I will go so far as to say that many americans would have no idea what you were talking about just reading those four choices. Until we as a country confront the problem of illiteracy, there will never be a fair vote....
