Most Surprising Compliment.

After reading Independent Gal''s thread...I got to thinking.

What is a compliment that you''ve received from someone that really surprised you?

I''ve got two:

1. People often comment that my house is always clean and put together. That one really surprised me.

2. That I''ve got pretty skin. That one really took me aback. Even though I''ve gone to a dermatologist on a number of occasions, it seems like I''ve always got a blemish or two somewhere on my face...

That I would be a good mom. I am terrified at the thought of raising children. I cannot imagine that level of responsibility. Not sure I will ever have children and, quite frankly, at age 41 I am running out of time, so my gyno tells me....he said my eggs were getting old....BAD GYNO!!!

The look of utter disbelief when people find out my oldest child is 25 and then ask how old I am! Most people would peg me for <35, but I am 46 years old

I was quite touched. My mom is an amazing woman surrounded by lots of equally amazing people (namely my father) that I was a bit stunned.
