@mrs-b are you OK?

I can well imagine that with this level of pain, keeping an online group updated is close to the bottom of @mrs-b's list...Survival of pain is #1. I say this having been beside to several pain-beyond-description surgeries that my DH has had, and one life-threatening sepsis event. :???::oops2:

In sporadic moments, he asked about certain friends, but honestly, it was not top of of his mind to update people. It wasn't top of my list, either, to take my time and attention from what needed to be done in-the-moment. Every few days I'd send a note to a couple key people who would then distribute to their common friends.

Still, hoping that there is relief for you, @mrs-b.

Can you take the acetaminophen with Ibuprofen? Together they can provide stronger pain relief than alone. Ask your physicians if that’s ok. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this high level of pain :(
Sending you gentle hugs

Tylenol and ibuprofen? Oh you neophyte! Ive been on valium 10 mg/6 hours, Tylenol 1000mg every 8 hours, and 10mg of dilaudit every 4 hours.

Ive been delirious the last two days, and its horrible. Ill say this quickly because it hurts to sit. This is far worse than I thought it would be. Apparently the surgery and messy. But I appreciate your prayers. ill send more when I can,

Only hitting the “love” reaction button because I am so relieved to see your name here.

I hope the meds are sufficient for the pain. Delirium doesn’t sound fun at all. Hang in there. We are all praying for you.

Oh @mrs-b I’m so happy to hear from you! TG they’re giving you meds to help the pain better than Tylenol! I agree..Delirium must be awful to deal with..❤️❤️❤️❤️

I hate this for you. I hope it gets better soon. Bone pain is the worst.

@mrs-b so glad to hear from you!
Prayers continue!!

I know you're riding a sea of pain, and it feels like your dinghy is going to capsize on those waves. Keep riding with your teeth grit as best you can.
This water isn't forever. It isn't.
You hear me?
It isn't.

Oh thank goodness. I was scared, too scared to post. It's a good day that can't come soon enough when you are finally able to read these replies.

We're here with our noses shoved against the glass trying to look after you, mrs-b.
Bless you, we're helpless to help you.

@SparklieBug thank you for the perspective and the reminder.

Purring cats can heal bones. Wishing you a purring cat.

I'm glad they can give you dilaudid. I had that with my first lumbar fracture.
mrs-b, we are all scared. Scared to death we'll lose you. I know you're tough but please find another level of tenacity.

OMG!! Happy Dance that you have posted!

I, like everyone else, have been going out of my mind with worry. No wonder you’ve been out of it. Sounds horrendous for you.

There is only one way to go from here & that is onwards & upwards.

I shall keep on pinging your phone though. Just because.

@missy Thank you SO much for letting us know she’s ok.

You know I feel the same about you sweet friend. I am always here for you know that. (((((((HUGS))))))))

@mrs-b So sorry to hear how awful this has been for you. Praying you continue to heal and have your pain managed through your post- op and rehab course. Take good care.

@mrs-b you had asked me recently if it was worth it to get my knees done at the same time even with all the pain. I wanted to report back that DH and I danced all night at a wedding on Saturday and I twirled and sashayed and jumped up and down and everything else.

Its been 2 years and 1 month since all of that pain and the surgery.

Completely worth all of that pain.

I’m rooting for you! There is a full pain free life on the other side of the pain and I’m hoping that you get there sooner that you think.

Its so hard to see out when you are in the thick of it.

My love to you.

So sorry to hear you’re having such a hard time, mrs-b. Hope you feel better soon.
