My new stone is here. I had it set in the JA cheapest setting so I could enjoy it while I plan and save for the lariat necklace where it'll be bezel set permanently. Just thought I'd share it here. I'll probably add it to the lower colored stones thread too. I'm a bit ashamed to notice it sort of blows my 1 Ct Asscher E-ring away...
Thanks to PS for the information and inspiration! Apologies for the poor quality photos.

ooh- pretty! It looks great! Looking forward to seeing it in a necklace too!

Congrats it's pretty as is and no doubt it will look amazing in a pendant too!!!

It's a beauty!

Thanks much :)

I've never had an RB over .5ct. They're really quite beautiful in person. Even M ones.

looks beautiful!!

Very pretty! :appl:

Very pretty

Lovely!

Thanks so much. I'm going to try to get better quality photos here in the next few days.

Great stone. That will be a lovely size for a necklace. Smart to enjoy it as a ring while you are saving for dream setting.

beautiful! still looks plenty white to me!

Very pretty! Can't wait to see the necklace!

It's really pretty. Asschers are such a problem: gorgeous but so deficient in size. I've decided to keep my 1.53 and instead of upgrading for another 12k, getting a 2+ carat Oec. I don't think a 2.2 carat asscher would look big enough.

I'm also going to look for a warmer stone, so thanks for posting this.

I wholeheartedly agree. I love step cuts, they're among my favorites. But seeing the finger coverage and light play of this RB is really showing me a different experience when it comes to diamonds. I'm a bit disenchanted with the price/size of Ascchers when compared to other cuts.

Can't wait to see your OEC! Chunky facets really amaze me. The pastels!

Someone who is familiar with diamonds could probably tell this diamond is lower color. But it's of no matter to me. It doesn't look like a yellow tooth, it's just slightly buttery.

Adding a few more pics...
