My blue sapphire ring

That is a GLORIOUS sapphire. I have a sapphire cut by Richard Homer and I like it but it is darker than I would like a lot of the time. Does yours usually look this color? And it looks great in the setting you've chosen.

Sorry, Cind11! I did see your question but my whole family came down with a stomach bug and that put everything on hold !

This sapphire is a beautiful royal blue all the time. The darkest it gets is a bit darker than what you see in the second picture. It looks the way it does on my son's finger (10th pic) only in sunlight and then a bit darker than that in fluorescent lighting.

It is a gorgeous, gorgeous color. And a beautiful ring! The only thing I missed, because I did not read everyone's posting, is the stone's origin. Someone mentioned the stone looking like Ceylon sapphires, is it from Ceylon?
