My Daughters earrings are here!

I have been searching for some earrings for a while for my 2 daughters (4yo and 19mo- nothing like planning ahead); and neither of them have their ears pierced either. We will wait till they ask, and hopefully they will be older and understand what it means and how to clean them before we do it... But, i wanted them to have diamond earrings as a significant birhtday or event gift. That is, if i can hold out that long! LOL

As some of you know i am an old cut kinda guy.. So, I was contemplating OECs or MRB. i soon realised from the help of PS community (thanx!!! ) at that small size of at least 0.5ctw G-I colour, that the MRBs are the way to go.

I the platinum milgrain bezels from BGDs. Their website made it easy to find matched pairs. However, it took a while to find the matching sets. After a few months i found them..

So I picked them up at Xmas and was blown away! I got the glamour photos first and then couldnt wait to pick them up from FEDEX office.... there is a pic of them in the car, after i ripped the packaging open!!!! they are beautiful.. The packaging is exquisite...Ribboned box, candy in shape of heart boxes...

I took photos on my iphone inside the house with yellow down lights. The diamonds pick up that colour nicely... very buttery look to them...

Greg, those are absolutely gorgeous!!! The milgrain bezels are my favorite settings especially for stones this size! These are the perfect size for teens and young women. Great choice!

Beautiful! As someone who bought her daughter her first pair of diamond studs at age 6 ( ), you will receive no teasing from me!

And I think you made a great choice with the RBs. My daughter has little baby Transitionals (around 0.30ctw set in buttercups, so cute) and you can't see that they're old cuts unless you loupe them.

Oh, and here's a little nugget for you to just tuck away for later use. When you do let them pierce their ears, I implore you - clean the piercings with H2Ocean, which you can buy on amazon (it's what a lot of body piercers use). My daughter's piercings kept getting infected until I switched to the H2Ocean, and it was like a miracle. Not one problem since.

I will second Erica's endorsement of H2Ocean. I've been using it recently for newly pierced ears and it's been great. Quick healing and very gentle.
