That is good enough and yes the more I can see closer and the more REALLY REALLY BEAUTIFUL your ring is you and me we have a like halo ring but mine is 18YG and plain shank. I adore your ring and that what exactly I would like mine look like but unfortunately it came out not exactly I would love to be. (you can see my prob which jam in with Kels thread in Halo help). May be because I not good enough in communicated with my jeweler. I'm happy for you that the ring came out exactly what you expect and lucky you. Cheer!

I'm having my jeweler make my RB into a halo and he was telling me it's impossible not to get a space since it's a RB. Do you know what your jeweler did not to have space between the RB and the halo?

LinaLove, thank you so much. This HW inspired look is absolutely to die for. Lots of complements on it everywhere I go and it sparkle like crazy. I dont know how far you are from Chicago but thats where i got mine made. I went to Jewelers Row met with handful of jewelers. I got an awesome price on my setting. Paid 1700. That's before the increase in diamond price so i dont know how much it would cost now. However my jeweler gave a discount because he said he didnt have to sit down w me and stretch out a design or anything. I told him pretty much everything i wanted from the size of the each melee down to all the little details and all he had to do was put it in CAD and make it.

Since my ring is CAD made the prongs are much bigger than those handmade by Leon n Victor is is why its way cheaper but what I really love and what you should tell you jeweler is for them to hand make the prongs in the halo. When my jeweler show me the wax, the prongs on the shank were shown in the wax but not the halo. Me not knowing anything about custom jewelry worried but he said he was going to hand make the prong in the halo that way its much more delicate look. Im glad he did that because if you look at the halo area there's less metal compared the the shank. Someone asked in one of the early post if there were any space between the rb and halo. No there is not. Thats one thing that I made sure my jeweler knew that I did not want.

We originally considered going to Leon Mege but with him in NY-it was gonna cost a lot of $$ flying back and forth. And since im so detailed and picky to spend that kind of $$ i had to meet the jeweler in person and go over all the details. I just wasnt comfortable doing it over the internet/phone. However Leon and Victor makes such beautiful rings my next setting ( havent found one I like better than this HW style haha) will definitely be made by them. In the end Im glad how it turn out it can be better but I believe i got a steal. Because I've done so much research. I hope this helps and good luck if you do decide to go w this setting.
