thanks everyone! It''s a La Sposa (one of the Pronovias lines) gown. I ordered a custom length and I think the size I ordered is a little big for me so I''m nervous the size/length will be really off. I want to minimize alterations. It makes me nervous thinking about my gown being taken apart and sewn back together. Not to mention the alteration costs! Did most of your dresses fit okay before alterations?

My dress that I ordered fit great except that I have no boobs so how they are gonna alter the chest?!?!?!??! Like you Carebear, I''m terrified that taking it apart and putting it back together will do something bad to the rest of it. But then I''ve got that dress ordered from China that they are apparently doing and redoing over and over after every email I send. Oh aren''t weddings fun?!

I hear you on being worried. My dress is so pretty, I hate to imagine them taking it apart!!
But mine''s about a size too big too.
Your dress is really amazing. Apparently it is a very common thing to buy bigger dresses and alter
them down (at least that''s what the sales lady told me!)

I think most dress come in being too big and need to be altered down, at least that''s what I read.

I was lucky that my dress fit me and don''t need to be alter much.
