Does anyone know where I can get inexpensive (but nice quality) favor boxes?

My favors will be little magnets I bought while I was in Spain last month (I''m attaching a pic...they''re so cute and match the Spanish theme!). I also plan on adding a good Sangria recipe and a little tag or something like that...

First I was going to fo with clear bags, btu then thought it would look nicer in a box with a green ribbon (or maybe black and white polka dot since that would go nicely with the damask theme I have going on with my stationary)...

Any suggestions?

How cute! Have you looked at Jean M?

How much are you looking to spend on each box? Kara found some adorable ones at White Aisle yesterday - I think they were $1.50 each??

Not sure how big those cute little guys are, but Paper Source (paper-source.com) has a few different box options. Click on the "wedding" tab, then "ceremony and reception." i ordered a bunch of different paper and ribbon from them to do envelope liners, table numbers, programs, place cards, etc., and the quality is great.

M- sorry that i don''t have any box suggestions for you.

just wanted to chime in and say that those are the cutest magnets! i''m not a fan of favors (didn''t have them at my wedding), but this is one I would certainly keep- and use.

Thanks guys!!! aren''t they cute

$1.50 would certainly be a bit much...
I saw the ones at paper-source and they are so cute! (Specially the polka dot one in red!)

I would like to get a super deal (wouldn''t we all!)....but if I could get a nice enough box that I can dress up with a ribbon then I think that would work.

The magnets are little so they would fit easily in a 2x2x2 box or small clear bag?...

I don't know how good of quality they are but there is a seller on ebay efavormart is the sellers name and they sell favor boxes. A few different kinds I think. I am not sure how big you need, but they have 2x2x2 ones. A 100 are like $40 including shipping.

here is the first mock-up for the thank you /sangria card.

I plan on making it like a bookmark and adding a green ribbon on the top

and the back
(Not sure if I will be using this recipe or another one yet)

That is so funny, I just saw his store!!
He doesn't have the best feedback score....but those look pretty...and cheap!!!!!!!!!...they're actually 16.99 for 100...could that be right??. It doesn't say where their store is located....hmmm

another suggestion... if you go to oriental trading''s site and search for "favor boxes," a whole slew of stuff pops up, at EXTREMELY reasonable prices.

I was thinking of doing it but then I decided against it becuase I am looking for deep red containers for favors and didn''t see anything so I have decided when I eventually do favors to go to the fabric store and make my bags, or go to the craft store and see what I can do.

wow FLGirl...

I wish I knew how to make my own bags!! That would be so cute

My craftiness doesn''t go that far though...hehe

I am not sure if I am up for the challenge yet. I dont have a sewing machine and if i did I have no idea how to use one. I made my halloween costume last year by hand so I am pretty good at hand sewing so I figured I would do that and take a couple months to do it. 175 bags is alot so we will see!

I needed little bleached cotton drawstring bags for my favours - I found a seller on ebay and emailed her as to whether I could get 130 of them. She sold them to me for $80 including postage which was fantastic. That was in the UK, but I''m sure that you could either get them shipped to the US or find a seller there.

Her ebay name is littlebaggers - take a look on www.ebay.co.uk

Those are SUPER cute. You may want to try Michael''s craft store. When I was favor shopping, they had little whit or ivory paper boxes that could be jazzed up with some ribbon. They were the sort that come flat and they you fold them out into boxes. They were pretty cute looking for what they were. I think that a set of 100 was like $25.

Speaking of Michael''s.... and hopefully this doesn''t creep you out that i think about you pricescopers when i''m out and about... i was there last night and saw these box things and immediately thought of you! I''m not sure what you would or could use them for, but I just had to post a picture for you. Yes, I went so far as to take a picture so you could see them! The display shows it as a vase for fake flowers, however since they are cardboard you wouldn''t be able to put water directly in them, which may make them difficult to use for fresh flowers (unless you had a vase that could fit inside). And ignore those prices - that was for the fake greenery. The containers were $4.99 each.

oh shoot! the picture is too large to attach! i''m on my fiance''s computer and he doesn''t have photoshop on here which is what i use to resize but i''ll switch to my computer and be back in a few : )

here it is.

oh, and the pattern is raised. it''s like velvety....

Hahaha MMM you are so cute! Yesterday I was all set to post something else black and white damask but I was like well...I don''t want her to think I''m weird...so I didn''t post. Now I will.

I am also doing damask touches around my reception, and I found someone on etsy.com who makes books and there was a link to their blog with a great damask pattern.

Here is the seller on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5252156

And here is her blog with the pattern: http://www.huishbooks.blogspot.com/

I emailed her about it because I might get one for my wedding, and she said the paper on her blog is velvet flocked, but she could order it without the velvet too.

So, just an idea in case you don''t have a guest book yet!

Thank you everyone!!!
I bought some small ivory boxes from the ebay seller posted before....I''ll keep you posted on the quality!!!!

MMM and Karasue - You guys are so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!...no, I don''t think you''re weird!!!. Those are so cute!!...not sure how I could use them and don''t want to "abuse" the damask...hehe.

Thank you guys!
