My first day on BIW

hey everyone just wanted to say hi im new here just got engaged on Sat, and its been a crazy last few days. I looked at two venues already and decided on one, and i am 99% sure we are booking in for June 28,2008!!! ahahah less than a year!!

if i take that day its not only a sat night but in june and im getting it for 50%off since they just want to book up 08.

i had no preference in date i really wanted feb but its such a risk with snow, my next option would be oct of 08 but its very expensive and april 09 just seems sooo far away!!

i know i can pull it off im not that picky!!

i ordered favor boxes already, ordered the bridesmaid tanks, picked dresses for the bridesmaids, and talked to the church to see if that day is avail and it is so things are falling into place nicely so far

i will know tomorrow if we are 100%on that date and then i can call the church and book that as well i figured even if it isn''t that date i need the favor boxes and tanks. im going to search for cards to send my BM to ask them i want to get them out this week so we can order the dresses no later than two weeks!!

my head is spinning!! i love deals and i''d be saving over 11,000 if i pick June 28 how could i resist o and they are including every possible upgrade as well!!

Yay Bee thats Awesome!! I have to admit i went to both places alone my parents, sisters, and Fiance haven''t seen the places yet!! hahah its was nice to go alone we have to go to the venue sooo many times they will get tired of it!!

just an update the awesome cards i found to ask my bridesmaids were mailed out today from the copany and are getting mailed to each girl!! yayay

confirmed today that my Fiance parents will be here that day (they live out of the country) Called venue left a mess that i def want that day, and to set an appt. to leave a deposit.

went dress shopping today just to figure out what the hell i want!! Most likely not buying from davids but wanted to get an idea im going to the garmet district with my uncle in two weeks.

im torn between two styles both very different!! the pic don''t do any justice to the dresses anyone know any designers who have similar styles to these two??

Wow Bella! I LOVE the CE239! Wow! That dress is so unique and amazing! You must post pics of you in the dresses so we can get a better idea of your body style and proportions for these dresses. Each dress is a different style, but both are stunning! Great choices!

I love the CE239, but beware...it is HOT and heavy! I tried it on at David''s Bridal during my first shopping experience with my mom and future mother-in-law. It is very flattering on many ladies figures, but may be too hot for your June 28th wedding. I remember standing around in it for about 15 minutes and my legs felt sweaty! Yuck!

Anyways, best of luck with your planning! I am sure it will go smoothly!

thank you for your advice, im going to check out that website now. the second dress was so much more comfortable than the first but i always wanted a "puffy dress" ugh im thinking i may end up getting two dresses in the end!!

just to update i confirmed with the venue today its set June 28, 2008!! i recieved my paperwork from the church today im going to go drop it off!! And i booked my DJ!! Yay im so happy its moving along

the girls should recieve their cards tomorrow asking to be BM oooo i cant wait
