Hello everyone. I’ve made this little purchase. I’ve never spent this much before on a single small (but mighty!) stone and I’m wondering what you guys would do with it? Should I do some kind of floating pendant perhaps. Any feedback and advice appreciated. It’s also my first trillion

A floating pendant would be lovely, it's what I'd do because I think I'd be too hard on it as ring. Beautiful stone!

Pendants are pretty, but I recently got my first Paraiba and I like being able to see it glow and change in different lighting. A pendant is for other people, a bracelet or ring is for you!

Man, paraiba prices have really gone up. Just 4-5 years ago, I got a 1.5ct trillion for the same price as what .33ct is going for now. That said, smaller trillion gems are easier to set design wise than larger trillions.

Do you think I overspent? My understanding was that this seller is fair…. Interested to hear your opinion. She has so many beautiful stones and is so lovely to deal . With my limited knowledge sounds like you did very well/ I wish I got onto these stones years ago

No, you didn't. It's just the nature of rarer precious gems and market value.
It's the CS lover's lament to wish they'd gotten in on the ground floor!

The seller is fair, it's just incredible how the mines have dried up and the demand continues pushing prices up. I'm not familiar with the market prices anymore and probably will not buy any more until I have had time to set the stones that I already have.

Nothing wrong with pendants except you don’t get to enjoy it unless in front of a mirror!
for that reason I’d go with a ring in white metal with diamonds. If you want to add in some colour, royal blue sapphires, spessartite garnet or amethyst would provide a nice contrast. Colourful rings are gorgeous.

Here is the finished product. My jeweller attached to a diamond pendant I don’t wear much. Cost effective and simple. I love the art deco one above though!!!
