So I purchased this stone back in January off Ebay, my husband had it set in a pendant for our anniversary and its rekindled an obsession with gems I had as a child.
I love these non traditionally colored sapphires! I want to start collecting both specimins and jewlery quality stones for custom jewlery. Im just unsure where to start, but Im sure Ill manage
I do know this stone is too dark, and overly saturated to really look good outside of direct sunlight, but I still love it.
How did you get into the hobby and what was the first stone that "changed everything" for you?
