My first Tiffany purchase...

So when FF & I went ering shopping at tiffany''s, I fell in love with the round aquamarine stacking ring. He fussed at me and said $300 for a silver ring with aquamarine was too much. I said "I love the ring and I''ll buy it if I want to!" But, I didn''t because I knew I had this, that, & the other to pay for this month so I didn''t get it. Well, I got a hefty bonus at work and that ring started looking better and better. So, I emailed the SA to ask about shipping it to me and it was going to be $15 on top of sales tax which took the ring to $342 because I''m not driving 3 hours away just to buy this ring, plus with school and work, i honestly don''t have the time. I got on the Tiffany''s site yesterday and guess what? Free shipping til Oct 26! So I just bought the ring and it should be here in 4-5 business days!

I''m excited. I think every girl should buy herself something nice every once in a while

Good for you..I know what you mean..I need to look that up.Sounds beautiful..Tiffany''s has a silver mesh ring that I have wanted for years. When I first saw it a few years ago, it was $85.00, then it went up to $100.00, then $125.00, now it was $150. (I never bought it because everytime I''d go in and ask for my size, they never had it)So now knowing that the price goes up, I really had to have it. My BF and I had gone in to Tiffany''s in Vegas, and he too, did not want ME to buy it, he wanted to get it for me, BUT he wanted to buy me and e-ring as the first ring he would have ever purchased for me. So he did not want me buy it either/ Well I could totally understand that and I thought that was real sweet. I felt bad, but at the same time I thought to myself , by the time that happens this ring will be at $500.00!! Luckily they didn''t have my size so I couldn''t get it anyways. So a few months later I went to tiffany''s to buy him their Tiffany Sport cologne for men this was for our anniversary, I finished paying, and then went back and said "humor me, do you have this ring in a size 4"? Sure enough they had it! So I bought it!. I told the sales lady the whole story and she pretty much had me when she said "well you know that he is not going to get it for you" SOLD!!! I deserved an anniversary gift too. He just shook his head when he saw it. Now he likes the ring. It has that "bling bling" look without the "bling". Well Look at the bright side, it''s better you got it now, because it would more likely go up in price. Tell your boyfriend that! Congrats on your new ring. I love Tiffany''s!

Congrats on your purchase! My boyfriend bought me the pink tourmaline version of your ring for Christmas last year, which I stack with the Elsa Peretti band ring (.02 diamond, silver).

You are really going to enjoy your aquamarine stacking ring, it is so comfortable!

No, but I''ll take some! I''m actually disappointed in the ring... the stone in it is very very light in color, almost clear! It''s not at all like the ring i tried on in the store. Also it has a scuff on the bottom of the band like it''s been worn before. I''m afraid it''s a 1/2 size too small because after wearing it for an entire day, I had a black ring around my finger! It''s either that, or PMS making my fingers bloated... I think it''s time for Finger LIPO!!!!

I''ve considered sending it back.. but I''m not sure...

Ok, So here''s a few pictures. I wear it on my right hand, but because i''m right handed i had difficulty taking pictures of it on my RH, so i put it on my LH. My camera has Micro mode, I just can''t find it in the settings.. ERR. It''s a Sony dsc-t20..can anyone help??

Shopping at Tiffany & Co is so much fun! Having the little blue box and walking around w/ the little blue bag can really make you feel happy. ANy wearign a piece from there, any piece, can make you feel like a million bucks! Congrats on spoiling yourself!!

I see what you mean about the aquamarine color though. I''ve been debating buying this ring for years and I''m still on the fence. Also, mine might be too small. I''m expecting to get it today though!
