OMG, what a little hot dog! Congratulations! He's precious, and I love how long he is even at such a young age. Dachshunds are such sweet dogs.

ETA: I think Oscar would be a great name for your little guy...as in Oscar Meyer Weenies.

Thanks for all the comments you guys are great we''ve compiled a list of names let me knoe which ones you like the best

Maverick

Duke

Klouse

Cowboy

Kent From Kent WA

Monroe from monroe WA

Lancelot

Gunther

I''m in love! What a cutie!

Of your choices I think I like "Duke" best ... because it''s easy to say & you''ll be saying it alot!

There''s a realtor around here who named his dog "Pony" which I think is funny & kinda like your "Cowboy" choice.

I wanted to name my two kittens "Gracie" & "Governor" because it would be so silly to be like "Governor, cut that out" "Dinner''s ready, Governor" ... even thought about spellin'' it Cuntry-style. Guv''nr. Turns out my 2nd kitten was a sweet little girl who didn''t fit the "Guv''nr" bill AT ALL. She was 100% Clementine. So "Guv''nr" is the unused name.

I got a "G''kar" though ... and a "Bill" -- when my fiance moved in.

Oooh!! I remember when our mini was that old! Now he's a year and a half, and a little monster.

They are fascinated by feet, shoes and toes. Ours didn't like the puppy kong, but absolutely KILLED his stuffed mousie that had come with him from the breeders. Your little guy is ADORABLE. Ours was named before we even got him, Woofie. AKC is Woofus the Second (we have NO idea who the first is) of Westminster (our street

). Enjoy! Are you crate training? If so, isn't it a nightmare?!

Yes were crate training, last night was the first night he actually did pretty good only getting up 2x in the middle of the night. Im able to get him to sleep really fast by humming its funny he like just falls over and hes out haha. He adores my feet and ALL of my jewelery even my E-ring but he likes my anklet the best hes the greatest, my FI and I are in Washington for the summer and we really wanted a weiner we were so happy when we found him!

My FI came up with the name Duke I think its a cute name but common yet its growing on me

ya it beautiful up here were living right in downtown kirkland and we can walk to lake washington its wonderful! we miss san diego alot though

How about the name Ramsey after the Egyptian Pharaoh?

Ramsey was smaller than most people, but he was a powerful pharaoh and was Pharaoh when Egypt held some of the mmost territory. He lived to be about 99 in a time when people normally did not live or rule past 30.

If my memory is right.. Just a suggestion..

He is adorable

Wow thats a cute name i like the historical background of it too thank you hmmm Ramsey wamsey hehe

He is absolutely adorable! My brother and s-i-l have a mini-doxie named Kaiser. For being such a little dog he definitely thinks he is a big dog!

Of the names mentioned so far I like Duke and Oscar.

I also think Oscar is a cute name! I hope your little man doesn''t chew the innards out of his bed like mine did. One day we came home to find him snuggled down inside his hollowed out bed. It was really cute, but he''s gone through about 4 beds! Literally. I have to keep reminding myself that they''re diggers, and are almost born with the idea to bury, hide, and dig! I''ve got to say that the little minis are too cute. And they can live up to 16!

ha ha ya hes already chewing EVERYTHING he especially loves throwing his bed around and chewing the inards too as of 30 min ago he just discovered his nyla bone and is loving it!

i like hiiiim!!
i''ve been bothering my bf for a dog like that.. haha.
i like the name bean..
but thats just me :)

OMG, he is absolutely ADORABLE!!!!!

He is SOO cute!

OMG precious baby!!!!! Soooooooo adorable. I think his name should be Peanut.

What I sweet little guy!! I want one!!! I am really looking forward to having a little just like him someday.

What about the name Wrigley? I always that it would be a cute name for a little boy dog. There is a rumor that dogs respond better when they have a "eee" sound at the end of their name. I don''t know if its true, but might be something to consider.

From your list though, I like the name Monroe.

I don''t know why, but the first name that popped into my head when I saw his picture was "Archie".

I don''t know anyone with that name......but that''s what he looks like to me.

Aww, he''s so cute!!!!

Ok so the names are in we like Duke and Tucker! Thanks Pricescopers now I just need a show of hands on the names lol

I vote for Tucker, that''s a great name.
36.gif

Oh my gosh, he''s such a little cutie.
30.gif

Oooh he is soooo sweet - I want to come over and play...
9.gif

Hmmm Duke or Tucker - tough call...
I liked KENT - it reminds me of the South England...love that area
21.gif

I''m not helping the name process am I - sorry...

HOW ADORABLE!!!!

I vote Tucker. cuz you can shorten it to Tuckie... or even Tuk-Tuk. HA!

How sweet!!! I was going to go with Maverick. But out of your last 2 choices I like Tucker.

thanks everyone for the votes Tucker was my pick too sadly it didnt win somone said to us "what if somoe calls him "****er" instead?" and we thought well that wouldnt be nice although its such a cute name Duke just fits him! we call him Dukers and Duke-E-Duke too hes such a great gift i couldnt ask for anything else! Heres the latest pictures!
