I just shrieked and DW wanted to know what the heck was the matter with me... so I showed her the pictures and even *she* thinks your rings are just to die for. She doesn't even usually like jewelery! Perhaps you've helped to convert her.

LovingDiamonds - Thank you! Let''s see - the Amethyst is a straight 7x7mm BB cut, the tourmaline is like 6.6x6.6mm. which is why I had my jeweler miligrain the inner bezel, and I think the Malaya Garnet is 6.7 or 6.8 square. The oval is actually just a hair over 6 x a hair under 8.

In fact, it was through you that I learned about LOGR. I remember you saying you wished you had upgraded the stones in the setting; did you do that on this latest setting? I''m scrutinizing your pics to see if I can tell a difference. Regardless, it''s a lovely, lovely ring with a beautiful stone - congratulations.

Thank you, Cellantini! I''m glad you found LOGR, although lately I''ve not been too pleased with what I''ve seen here on PS. I suppose it''s the price we pay for buying through ebay, but I''ve lucked out. The only ring I have through them that I wish I had upgraded is the 3 sided pave eternity ring. I''ve really just had fabulour luck with all of my Legacies, and my OEC''s split shank is a fabulous setting!
