my long overdue WF yellow sapphire engagement ring pics

Like a big burst of sunlight, so pretty. Congratulations. :appl:
Btw what's royal yellow gold? Is it a special alloy?

gorgeous! congrats on your engagement!

  Gorgeous!  What an amazing color!

Congratulations on your engagement! :appl: :appl:

Very pretty. The setting appears cast by hand for the stone. Very high end.

Will you just look at those prongs! Move over Leon - space needed on the podium.

Gorgeous ring. Congratulations!

Congrats on your engagement. That's a truly beautiful and elegant yellow sapphire ring. You make me want one now.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!

W  W!!!

This is perfection in itself. I love the warmth of the stone and the yellow gold! wear it in great health! :wavey:

Thank you so much! I've missed pricescope. I'd forgotten how sweet and supportive you all are.

Royal Yellow is an alloy that is supposed to be a richer yellow than normal 18k. Truthfully, my untrained eye could not tell much of a difference, but I must admit I really don't wear anything but 22k so this took some getting used to.

I do think the yellow of the gold and stone pair well together. My goal was that they be the same intensity or tone, but this came close, especially when looking at the ring from the top down.

Gorgeous! It reminds me of Heidi Klum's ering.

I absolutely love that! Nice choice!!

Love the double claw prongs. The setting is perfect for such a stone!

I LOVE yellow sapphires! Do you know what the origin of your stone is??

That is a good question. I'd assumed Sri Lanka, but when I looked at the cert to be sure I realized country of origin was not mentioned. I know it is unheated, and I think it was recut in NY. Maybe someone from Whiteflash can chime in and tell us?

Very rich color - cheers and wear it in good health! It's a gorgeous ring!

edit - to correct my tiredness and poor grammar

Well, if long overdue, it was certainly worth the wait. The setting is graceful and supportive of that gorgeous stone. I like that the gold is "royal yellow gold". How appropriate is that for a ring suitable for royalty? My compliments to you and to Whiteflash for a stunner of a ring.

Huge and beautiful. The setting is simple yet perfect for showcasing the stone.

Wow that is so beautiful and UNIQUE, congrats!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:

that is AH-MAZING!!! congratulations on your engagement :))

Thanks again for all your kind comments. I am so glad you are enjoying it.

As for the origin, Bob from Whiteflash was kind enough to call me. He said that the sapphire was mined and cut in Sri Lanka, and then recut in NYC.

Wow!! This ring takes my breath away! It is absolutely luminous!! LOVE IT!!!

totally gorgeous and one of the most stunning coloured stone engagement rings i've ever seen!

Just beautiful and amazing.

Would you mind posting the measurements of this stone and your ring size? I love the proportions!

Lovely ring! Wow. WOW.

Can you elaborate a little on the "royal yellow" gold?
