My makeup trial.

I lucked out and found a great gal for my wedding makeup. She''s MAC trained, and used the airbrush stuff on me. She kept commenting on how great my skin was. If only I could do something about the tiny lines around my eyes. Oh well. I''m 34 and no spring chicken!

It felt like I was wearing a bit too much, but I think it photographs well.

Don''t like this first pic. I look goofy. But I LOVE the eyes!

This second one was taken about 4 hours afterwards. The makeup still looks good (wish my hair did!)
Any comments, advice?

You do have good skin, those are nice laugh lines around your eyes, and the makeup is very natural looking. The lipstick could maybe go a shade brighter, but it might just be that it''s worn off in the second photo.

I think it looks really nice! It should photograph very well. I really like the colors. I looked totally scary to myself close up in my wedding makeup, but it photographed really nicely! Just remember to reapply that lipstick!!!

I think your eyes look LOVELY! I love the natural look of the makeup too.
Very pretty. I personally wouldn''t go darker or brighter with the lips, but
that''s my preference, I prefer the more neutral shades.

ChargerGrrl, I really like the natural look that she did for you. I use MAC products and have had them do my make-up before and they were anything but natural looking! lolollol.. The color on your lips can be a tad darker, IMO so that more attention is drawn to them but it would look good either way!

I think she did an excellent job and to be honest, I didn''t notice the lines around your eyes at all!

I think you look great--very natural. That airbrush makeup is awesome! It literally stays on until you wash it off and it''s sooo light, you can''t even feel it. I''ll admit that I went to sleep on my wedding night with all my makeup on and went to the brunch the next day without washing my face because it lasted so well!

The only thing I would do is accentuate your lashes a little more. Maybe add a few individual fake ones or just pile on the mascara. It really makes your eyes pop in the photos. But the eye makeup looks amazing. Great job!!!

Firegoddess- I ended up buying the lipstick she used so I can touch up throughout the afternoon/evening. I only had clear gloss on in the second pic, but really want to keep the lip look of the first pic!


Curlygirl- I agree with you on the lashes. They need to pop a bit. They''re super long, but you can''t tell in the pics. She didn''t curl them, which I usually do. I requested that be done on the day of. She''ll also be adding on a couple of the individual lashes to the outer edges.

I think it''s perfect...no need to change anything. I do agree about the lashes though, and I think the individual lashes at the ends will really polish off everything beautifully!

You look wonderful! Which airbrush makeup did she use? Also, have you considered eyelash extensions? I''m going to do those for my wedding. There is a place in Chino Hills that does them for $65 (sure beats paying $250 in BH).

The makeup is really natural, very pretty. I think with after playing up the lashes a tad, it will be FABULOUS. Did you find her locally or in Temecula?

I love it. What shade is on the lip? I find a little color photographs the best. I have an airbrusher, it is by Dinair and it is really cool. Did they use MAC foundation in it? You look awesome! I am 40, not too bad since I wear sunscreen, but those tiny lines are about character!!!! I hate that face lifted look some Hollywood women have. We have earned our little lines. Also, I liked the overall effect of the makeup, sometimes they make you look like a drag queen! Good idea to buy the lipstick and liner so you have it for touch up! Little individual lashes at the outer corners on the top are awesome...and wear waterproof mascara!!!
