ARe you keeping it East to West? Do you have a setting picked out? I love marquise diamonds set that way! I have a spare .30ct that I''m thinking about an E to W pendant, but haven''t seen any done that way yet!

What a gorgeous stone! I love that set east-west it would cover the entire top of your finger- just perfect. Can''t wait to see it after you have it set

Yes, it will be set east-west in an antique style setting.

My original e-diamond was a marquise. I think it is .65 ct. I do love a beautiful one. My symmetry was always a little off (one side flatter than the other) I noticed it. Others do not. I cannot see one thing about your marquise that is not perfection. That stone is simply stunning.

I can''t wait to see the setting. Congrats on a beautiful choice.

I love the east to west setting! It is beautiful.

Me too!!

I love the east/west setting!! So forward in design. Such a different and attractive way to present this shape of diamond on the finger.

Gorgeous stone!

That is gorgeous! I absolutely love marquise in east to west settings! I too have an old marquise that I''m thinking of having set east to west with amethyst and emerald stones as a halo (those are mine and my hubby''s birthstones). You by any chance have a pic of the setting you are considering? I think the length is perfect for your finger!

WOW.. you weren''t joking, that is one fab marquise! I can''t wait to see your setting... your ring is going to be amazing

Wow that stone is just amazing.

Thanks everyone! LadyluvsLuxury unfortunatley I do not have a picture of the setting. I came across an heirloom piece at my local Bailey Banks and Biddle. The original manufacturer of that setting will be creating mine.

Very beautiful - can''t wait to see it set. . . congrats!

Jazmine!!!!

Congratulations!

Like everyone else, I''m dying to see it in it''s permanent mounting. (E/W is my favorite configuration for MQs..) Any idea when it will be done??

Great picture ''on the finger'' ! Can''t wait to see it in its legitimate setting, sure that.

Speaking of which... is it anything like this one:

That is one gorgeous marquise Jazmine! I can't wait to see it in its final setting.

Ooh, yes that setting is kind of similar. Mine doesn''t have a real halo though. There is a ring of diamonds set around it but it is set below the girdle so you see alot of the stone. Also, my setting curves upward at the tips of the marquise, like a canoe. It will take 3 weeks and we are taking it in to start on it next week. It might as well be an eternity.

Very lovely stone, I really like the ratio a perfect balance!

That is going to be beautiful!!! Can''t wait to see it.

~~Jazmine your marquise diamond is a beauty!! I can''t wait to see the finished ring!!

It''s gorgeous!!! Can''t wait for the finished ring!
