Brief review--I lost my ring/it was stolen (long story)--been married 10 yrs, so decided it was feasible to "upgrade". Got stone (1.78 EC, G, SI1) from DCD and had jeweler make setting. Picked it up and I hated the setting! So, I had him design a new one for me with much simpler setting. Here''s the new one. The pics do not do it justice. I can''t get my drebel to do a decent macro shot--wonder what''s wrong? Enjoy!

I forgot to save it is 3 sided pave a little more than 1/2 way around the band. The prongs have pave as well.

Tried to capture the detail on the head--little scrollwork. Do you see it?

Wow! It''s lovely. I particularly like the scroll work on the sides. I''m so glad this new setting is to your liking. I know going through a remake was stressful. In the end, you have a beauty.

Can I ask for some hand shots, please?

Edited to add: what kind of WB do you have?

Uh, it took me a while to figure out wb means wedding band...lol. None as of right now...Not sure I want one right away, either, since I''ve been married for a while and don''t necessarily see the need for a separate ring and band. Maybe in the future that would be a nice purchase, though. Here''s a hand shot...my hands are just awful. Ring size is 8.

So beautiful! I love all of the details- great workmanship! Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous. An impressively sized stone and great detail without the clunkiness I see so much in rings with a big carat size. Looks wonderful on your hand, too.

YUMMY!!! I absolutely love the profile shot with the scrollwork on the head! Such a fabulous picture that shows off the workmanship and all the bling from the side view!! I don''t know/can''t remember if you showed us the first setting you did not like, but this one definitely takes the cake! It shows off the stone so nicely, and it looks elegant on your hand! Congrats!

Question, did you use baguettes on the top of the shank and rbs on the side?
Whatever you chose it''s beautiful!
