Hello fellow diamond lovers!!

My new 1.24 H SI1 from WF arrived yesterday and omg, she’s so lovely!! I can’t stop staring at her. :mrgreen2:

See my other post here:

I am beyond thrilled!! I wanted a stone with a lot of fire and sparkles and that’s what I got. Woohoo!

Ok, enough talk and on to the pictures

Disclaimer, I truly SUCK at taking pictures and I’m a lefty so I had to put the ring on my right hand so I could take the pictures. Also, I have a slight tremor so that causes some shaking which you can see in the video

Beautiful! Wear it in good health!

Please remember that you have to take care of the diamonds and especially the center one. If you do not clean it, within 2 months it will loose half of its sparkle (this is not scientific but an estimation).
The dirt paste that accumulates under the diamond absorbs the light rays.
Since we get many rings for upgrading we found out that almost all ladies does not take any cleaning actions.
So you spent day and nights to find the ultimate diamond that will sparkle for couple of weeks only.
the best way is to buy a home Ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, they can be found for $60 and up.
We have a professional one so I do not have any brand recommendations.

Thank you for your attention
David

You are so right, it’s important to take care of your rings and keep them clean. I soak mine every night in a bowl of warm water and a drop of Dawn. I should though treat myself to an ultrasonic cleaner from Amazon for a really good clean

Thank you so much! She is quite the sparkler. Yesterday when I picked it up from fedex, it was cloudy and rainy all day so I wasn’t seeing a lot of fire. But today when I stepped outside, WOWSER!:love::love:

Becca at WF assured me I would have lots of fire which is what I was after. The previous center diamond was a nice white but it didn’t give a lot of fire. I’m so thrilled with this one!

@Luce, I’m obsessed with it!! Trying to get better at taking pictures. So hard to capture the fire and beauty.

David, just a note that an ultrasonic cleaner is the last thing in the world that a pavé ring needs. Looking at the OP's ring, it may be channel-set rather than pavé, but I'd still be concerned that the tiny diamonds will fall out. The key is to clean the ring frequently with Dawn and a soft small toothbrush. No fancy equipment needed. Daily cleaning is best. It won't just add sparkle, it will diminish bacteria.

SO gorgeous!!!! Your hands and nails are so lovely. Your pictures are terrific. I have a tremor too - join the club!

@shoechick It’s easy, just click the Report Concern at the bottom of your post. A comment box will pop up, and you can ask to have your thread moved. Or leave it here if you want :wavey: Your ring is SO pretty!

@doberman thanks for the tip about pave rings. Relieved to know I’ve been cleaning it right all along.

Congrats, beautiful ring!

I do mine twice a day and sometimes more if I'm at home or have been playing with the dogs (pug sneezes go everywhere! :rolleyes2:). I've yet to have a professional clean make it look better than what I do myself with hot water, simple detergent and a toothbrush tbh!

I never understood this theory . IMO, if the tiny diamonds are too loose to go into the US cleaner then it is too loose to be worn.

It's all about vibration. To much can loosen settings. I don't vibrate too much while I'm just wearing my jewelry, do you, DF?

So beautiful!!! Wear it in good health!!! :)

You take great photos! Lovely manicure and beautiful fingers!
Oh and lovely diamond ring too haha.

Seriously it looks stunning. Congrats and enjoy!
