My new amethyst ring

Here's a "just for fun" ring. I love the color purple so I bought this 12.59 carat amethyst before Christmas and gave it to my jeweler and told him he had my blessing to find a setting. He really was meticulous about it. He finally decided on a 14kt Stuller setting and I am extremely pleased with it. As usual, it's now one of my favorite rings.....till the next one comes along.

Of course! I am soooo uncoordinated so I wore it on my left hand! Ha!! I was really concerned that it would "roll" but it is an absolutely perfect fit!

Thank you and I wish you could get Stuller items too! This setting is very sturdy, not flimsy at all, and I have always been very satisfied with what my jeweler used that came from them.
