Agreed! And Jon is right about the size. The 2.06 modern cushion with small table I posted about in RT was 7.25 x 7.17mm. This one is 7.31 x 7.54mm. That difference will be noticeable, yet my cushion is .13ct lighter than the modern one. This is a win/win/win scenario!

When I heard the dimensions I couldn’t believe it! That’s definitely a win +3!

The color of this stone is probably the most beautiful I have ever seen. It's like golden sunshine. It's NOT a yellow stone - tho in the photos the holder may give it that effect. But in real life, it can look extremely white, but more often, just...golden sunshine. I LOVE it.

It will be a pleasure to set this raging, flagrant, unabashed beauty and I am THRILLED to own her!

Gorgeous stone! Congratulations. Either setting you choose, the Maytal or the CVB, I suggest a faux bezel. DK did my 3 stone pendant & I love it. So simple but because of the setting, looks a bit larger. He recently did a 3 stone AVC (albeit smaller than yours) but I wont have that in my hands for a good month at least. Here's the faux bezel I'm talking about. Can be modified in a cushion with double claw prongs on the corners.

@mrs-b I went back and looked at it again and I could see it looks white..but that it was picking up the yellow gold from the ring holder. Do you think it will pick up the pink from the rose gold? That would be amazing! I can’t get over how light it is! I can’t believe it’s an R! It’s just so so pretty!

I'm getting closer on my design, but it's going to be tough and everything will need to be custom cut - and that's IF I can get the colors I want.

I'm looking for a matched pair of very warm, small AVCs to go either side of my center stone, then equally warm tiny bullets to go either side of that. So it will be a five stone ring - in rose gold. I'm not sure if it will be bezel or prong set, but I'm leaning towards bezel. We'll see.

Hi @Mamabean - yes, I've decided a bit of it. 5 stone in rose gold - maybe bezeled. And I was speechless too when I first opened the box. Then I started to laugh - because it's just ridiculous that ANYTHING can be that gorgeous!

Thanks, @yennyfire This is a departure for me. I had a K AVR once some years back, but I found the color...not warm, but not white, either. This isn't like that. This is summer sunshine. Nothing murky about this baby!!

Nope - another switch - have now mentally moved on to traps with tapered bullets. Half moons and bullets still an option. But truly - everything will depend on color accessibility.

In the meantime...what do we think of *this*? In rose gold....
