My New Caramel Welo Opal ring

My ring is finally done. It is a 11.5x8mm caramel opal with bright green, yellow, orange, and red flashes. Unfortunately like other people have said the camera does pick up the deep tones of the caramel/ the great transluncency and the bright flashes in the pics and even in the video, but I tried my best. It honestly looks like the loose stone pic below in person.

Thank you. Honestly I really wish you guys could see it in person. Eve in the video doesn't nearly even come close to how great it looks in real life. I got the setting from Ivy and Rose Vintage and had it custom made to fit my stone

I really love the base color and color play of your new opal ring. It is mysterious and beautiful. I think the setting is perfect for the opal in that it is beautiful but allows the opal to be the star.

Thanks. I have read and seen online about the chocolate opals from Ethiopia and fell in love, but heard they were unstable unfortunately. Then a couple of months ago I discovered honey/caramel colored Welo opals and fell for these which to me was the next best thing. I feel very fortunate to find this deeper caramel brown base opal with bright flashes.
