My new Christmas bling.

My DH got me this Henri Daussi ring for Christmas.
Admittedly, the only knowledge I have about diamonds is my innate love of their sparkles. Regardless, I am very excited to call this my own. It's an 18k white gold ring with a .70ct cushion cut diamond (the dimensions are 6.59x4.98 )(G / SI1). There is an additional .69ct in side diamonds.

Anything with a halo is my style of ring too. He did good IMO. It does go with everything, which is new for me. It's so icy and white compared to the gems I'm used to. I'm very excited to be wearing her.

I love that the facets are kind of chunky. It's more fun to look at (the exact opposite of how I feel if the same were said about my thighs).

I actually lost my diamond ring a few years ago. Since then, I've only worn colored gemstone rings (with the exception of my diamond wedding band). So it is the first plain white ring I've worn in ages and it, admittedly, feels a little weird because I am so used to color. Yes, I believe my paraiba obsession is well noted.

@Rfisher I'd love to see your Daussi ring. Please share it. I've loved cushion cuts for a long time and I always admire the daussi rings I see at B&M stores. I know that they aren't for everyone but I love mine (though an august vintage cushion cut diamond would be ok with me too).
