My New Dark Australian Opal

I just bought this beautiful dark opal from Justin at black opal direct. I always wanted a blue green dark or black opal and I found myself coming back to this one. It was reasonably priced. I hope to set it when going to the intergem show in November near me. Here are some of the vendor pics and video

Beautiful opal! Love the more narrow oval shape, and the blue/green coloration is so pretty and lively (particularly appreciate how the pattern and liveliness goes edge to edge, covering the entire stone) - can't wait to see how you set it!

Thank you. It took me a month to pull the trigger and since it was still online id figured it was meant to be. I originally wanted a blue/green black opal, but realized my options for those were limited for my budget and this one was dark enough plus had one of the best color combo to me for my budget. I am actually surprised he put it as only a B3. I feel like the green color is very bright and covers the stone well.

I love your opal and am glad that it was meant to be! I also waited a month to pull the trigger on a paraiba that I was hoping would still be there when the seller had a sale.
