Thanks Linda and Princess D- I feel the same way... I cant decide!!!! ahhhh.. LOL.. for one its hard seeing myself anything BUT blonde... I just dyed it a little more brown.. u cant tell in the pic but it was kinda weird redish.. so note to anyone.. do NOT ask BB to help dye your hair.. LOL I am NOT good at it..
BUT hopefully it will come out just as I wanted it and I might add just a few little blondeish highlights to add some dimension so its just not ALL brown ya know.. ahhhh soo confusing!

I totally understand about it being wierd seeing yourself outside of the blonde hair...I had that happen when i went to my red...it was shocking! At first I thought I had made a terrible mistake...but I ended up embracing the change and playing with various shades of red....it was fun...but ultimately I missed the blonde.... Everytime I made a drastic change, I had enlisted help at Prive (millenia) I have a colorist named Kathleen there...she is so worth it....but oh so pricey (hence why I only enlist her help if I am doing DRASTIC shade changes) but now I am staying my platinum indefinitely (at least until i get bored again...lol)
Personally i think you did a good job from the pics!
Ya I have a guy that does my hair, but pissed me off last time I had him do it for me and didnt do what I wanted, but what he wanted..... so I just get aggravated.. LOL.. and for some reason when I get my hair died by professionals it NEVER stays... seriously like 1 wash and its gone.. and when I do it at home, it stays for a lot longer.. I swear they do it so u come back more often... grrr... hahahaDate: 9/19/2008 10:32:39 PM

I always prefer darker hair for the fall...something about the really rich, warm, deep tones makes me happy....fall is my favorite season.
The reason your hair went a little wild is due to the lack of pigment in blond hair. You just really cant but 'brown' color on and turn brown...there are so so so many little tones that come together to make the really beautiful shades of brown you see. Hair color is all about science.
Red is actually one of the colors blonde hair is missing. Red is the hardest color to get in the hair in the right dosage, when you want to be an all over rich red head...but it's also the hardest color to strip out. The fact that you picked up a reddish hue isn't surprising at all. Whatever you do, do not add more 'dark-dark' brown over the color you have now. Color on top of color goes darker ... so, pick a shade slightly lighter than your goal...you'll end up where you want to be.
Good Luck!
