My NEW old Estate Diamond Ring

HI ya''ll:

I just wanted to post a pic of my "new" ring--an Estate piece that I purchased while in my home city a few weeks ago. I stumbled up it while wasting time in the local shops--buyiing flowers and wine for my sisters dinner party. I have been in the market for some time looking for a piece of this calibre--and I am SO happy to have found such a ring, OEC''s that sparkle like nothing I''ve ever seen. Lovingly worn, original, in excellent shape--three of the stones have minor chips in them, but nothing to make them unstable in their setting. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Wow -- that''s a beautiful ring. Is it a RHR or how will you wear it? I can''t wear those "long" rings. My fingers aren''t long enough between the joint and the knuckle, but I sure love them!

Thank you for the wonderful comments! I really never thought I''d find just that "perfect for me" piece--I''d seen so many that were in disrepair, or were not wholly original, or just too fine for my hand (my RH is a 6.5)--and that I found it serendipidouly (as BlueDawg suggests) makes it even more thrilling.

Although the young man to whom this piece was willed did not have any particular need/use for this ring and hence consigned it; I entreated to the vendor to pass on to him, that he could have not made me more happy and that I will always greatly value this "treasure".
