I know I just posted a thread about my blue sapphire, but I started to fall in love with turquoise after getting my necklace in Mexico (wanted a ring to match), and it came in today! It has a pretty robin egg blue with some spots towards the right that you can see in the pictures.

Natural Persian turquoise (not stabelized)
-Turquoise is 16x12mm and slightly faceted
-3mm natural rose cut diamond
-Both stones in bezel setting in 22k solid gold
-Shank is 925 silver

It's beautiful! the rich gold looks beautiful with that gorgeous blue.

Very cool.

Sorry to say but it looks unsafe.

The further the far edge of the turquoise part is from the ring (that point at which it would pivot) the less force is required to snap it off.
Also, the smaller the area connecting the ring to the large flat secion is the less force is required to snap it off.
Unfortunately that ring has both.

That turquoise part looks like it could easily snap off as a result of just a little pressure is applied to it.
Just lightly bumping you hand against something may do it.

I'd send it back to get the large turquoise part moved over so it is centered on the ring.

Two reveals in one week! The colour is abdolutely stunning. Congrats!

Like Kenny suggested it would not heard to have the strength of the ring checked. You do want to loose such a beautiful stone.

Thank you for your concern, but I got this from isreal so sending it back is not an option. As for centering the stone, I bought this ring because of this design and how it was different, if I got it centers it would defeat the purpose of why I likes it :). Also there is added metal to the back where it connects so it seems sturdier than it looks from the front. I know your trying to help, and i appriciate it :), but I just wanted to give my opinion on it :)

The turquoise blue is so beautiful! Congrats on your new ring!

Thanks for the additional info.
It IS really cool, and hope it lasts a lifetime.
Still, I'd be very gentle with it.

I really like this ring. The style is organic, but the color of the turquoise is anything but. Very nice!

Thanks for the nice replies! And I will be gentle with it :)

Cool ring.
