My new purchase from Forever Gemstones

I got this Merelani mint garnet from Forever Gemstones recently. It was a very nice experience to do business with Marty. I''ll surely buy from this company next time.

Here''s the spec of the stone: 1.75 ct 7.6mm x 6mm. It is a very decent cut. The stone is very brilliant even under low light. I took some outdoor pictures at 8pm and some indoor pix taken in the afternoon to show the color difference. The first 2 were taken in my kitchen in the afternoon. The rest were taken after sun set.

Thank you everyone for the compliments! This is my first garnet. I didn''t expect it sparkle so much. Yes, I plan to put it in a ring. I was thinking an EW setting like this one from Green Lake. I just don''t have a budget for it at the moment. I have an empty setting in 18k yellow gold and platinum. I will put it in this temporary home if the size fits.
